WP3a focused on obtaining further understanding of passenger preferences in multi-modal public transport networks. The WP built on the work of Anderson (2013) and continued research on access mode choice to stations and facilities at stations from Halldórsdóttir et al (2014). The research used a scheduling-oriented approach to route choice (Wilson & Nuzzolo, 2008) in order to support the optimisation of the schedules in WP5 and 6.
